McLarens Shipping gave money to bring Salman!

mclerenceIt has now been revealed that McLarens Shipping, a leading shipping firm in Sri Lanka, has given the money to the Sri Lankan government to bring down Bollywood actor Salman Khan, who had fled to India barely 12 hours after he set foot in the island.

The company has given Rs. 100 million to the government, following a request by president’s son Namal Rajapaksa to its owner Rohan de Silva and his son-in-law Dinesh Jayawardena. Out of that amount, Salman was paid only Rs. 70 million. The Sri Lankan government has asked Salman’s manager to reimburse at least something from the money he got paid, as he abandoned the programme and went back at the insistence of the Indian government.

McLarens Shipping has given the money in order to secure its monopoly on the importation and distribution of fertilizer, a top executive officer of the company told ‘Lanka News Web.’ Namal has promised to Rohan and Dinesh that if the president wins, that promise would be met.
